nokra Optische Prüftechnik und Automation GmbH
nokra manufactures high-precision, laser-optical measuring systems for the automatic inline inspection of geometric sizes. With the help of laser sensors, parameters such as flatness, straightness, profile, thickness and width are measured contactless in the production flow. With its four product groups based on the ‘alpha’ platform, nokra serves automotive suppliers, plant manufacturers as well as steel and aluminum producers worldwide. Typical applications include flatness measurement of metal strips and plates, thickness measurement of strip materials, curvature of windshields, and 3D dimensions of hot forged parts. In addition to the end customer business, nokra serves integrators and OEM partners with components based on the measurement technology or with complete measurement systems.
The core competence of nokra is the development of its proprietary laser and sensor technology together with the required system design as well as the complete nokra user software, from data collection to evaluation and customer interface. The accuracy of the measured data and its fast evaluation offers customers in industrial production processes the possibility for process control as well as for a reliable, continuous qualification of their product. nokra systems are inspection equipment which is an important basis for the auditability of manufacturing processes.
