Chief Executive Officer
Tobias Hoffmann-Becking has been a member of the Management Board of Blue Cap AG since April 2020. He is responsible for the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets, first as CIO and since September 1st, 2022 as CEO.
Mr Hoffmann-Becking studied business management at the University of Bayreuth, Harvard University and the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. He also has a Masters in Finance from the London Business School. He began his career at the Boston Consulting Group before spending eight years gaining investment experience across a number of international and national private equity funds. Before joining Blue Cap, he spent almost ten years as managing director of the investment bank Rothschild & Co.
Chief Operating Officer
Henning Eschweiler is Chief Operating Officer since September 1, 2022 and is responsible for portfolio management and sustainability at Blue Cap AG.
Mr. Eschweiler is a trained industrial mechanic and studied mechanical engineering and business administration at the RWTH Aachen University and the ETH Zurich. Parallel to the completion of his studies, Mr. Eschweiler was involved in the conception of a mobility start-up before he joined Struktur Management Partner GmbH as a consultant. There he advised medium-sized companies in the food, trade and industry sectors in particular on the development of growth and earnings increase programs or, as CRO, was responsible for their implementation. Most recently, Mr. Eschweiler worked at the Dutch-German private equity house Nimbus, where he was responsible for both M&A transactions and portfolio management. As a member of the advisory board or managing director, he has assumed responsibility in selected portfolio companies.
Chief Financial Officer
Matthias Kosch has been a member of the Management Board since January 2020 and is responsible for the areas of accounting and controlling, financing, taxes, law and IT. In this function he is also responsible for the commercial integration of new investments into the group.
Mr Kosch has worked for Blue Cap since 2008. He started out as an Investment Manager and then took on the role of CFO/Authorised Officer. Prior to that he worked for a private equity fund specialising in restructuring projects in Berlin. Mr Kosch studied business management in Munich.
