_Former company building in Finning sold to private investor for single-digit-million figure

Munich, 13 April 2021 Blue Cap Asset Management GmbH, Blue Cap AG’s real estate company, has sold the former em-tec GmbH building and premises in Finning to a private investor. The building was leased to em-tec in the long term as part of the sale of the company in 2020. The sale to the private investor remains subject to a possible exercise of the right of first refusal granted to em-tec GmbH on the same terms. The purchase price is in the mid-single-digit-million range.

This sale is in line with Blue Cap AG’s strategy of selling properties that are not used by the company itself. The sale of the company premises is the third real estate sale within the last few months. A former company site in Bavaria and a property not required for operations in Saxony had already been sold in November of last year. The proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce debt further and to reinvest in the operating business.
