_Dr Valentino Di Candido (56) joined the Planatol management board on 1 July

Munich, 7 July 2021 Planatol GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Blue Cap AG, has bolstered its management team. Dr Valentino Di Candido will continue to direct the Planatol towards growth as sales director alongside the previously sole managing director Hans Mühlhauser. His main activities will focus on increased internationalisation measures, as well as digitalisation within sales.

Dr Di Candido holds a doctorate in business management and most recently spent more than ten years in management positions in sales and marketing at Bühnen GmbH & Co KG, Bremen, a leading supplier of hotmelt adhesives. He has extensive knowledge of national and international direct and trade sales. Dr Di Candido brings his extensive expertise in the digitalisation of sales and marketing processes into this role.

The previously sole managing director Hans Mühlhauser commented: “With Dr Di Candido we have gained a very experienced manager who will give new impetus to our sales and marketing activities. We are confident that with his expertise he can make a significant contribution to the further growth of Planatol.”

Planatol is a global supplier of solvent-free adhesive products and application systems. In 2020, the company generated revenue of approximately EUR 31 million with its more than 100 employees. Planatol has been a member of the Blue Cap Group since 2009.
